Required Training & Keycard Access
All individuals working at Richmond Field Station are required to complete the "Working at RFS" Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) training module. This covers essential site-specific safety protocols and must be completed prior to receiving key access. Start the training module
Fly at Richmond Field Station
UAS flight requests must be submitted a minimum of 72 hours prior to the proposed flight. Submit a UAS flight request or see the Sky page for the full airspace access pathway.

Electrician
$149.00/hrNon-UC: $239.15/hr- Design and install new electrical systems and equipment such as motors, transformers, wiring, lighting, switches, and alarm systems
- Troubleshoots low voltage up to 480V electrical systems
- Cleaning and rewiring motors
- Testing electrical systems for safety and efficiency
Carpenter / Locksmith
$129.00/hrNon-UC: $207.05/hr- Rough-in to finish carpentry, cabinets, and partition walls
- Repairing and replacing doors and frames
- Custom woodwork, shipping crate fabrication, minor remodeling
- Small painting and flooring requests
- Auto door operators, lock installation, door re-keying
- Manages the key system for all RFS buildings
Plumber
$129.00/hrNon-UC: $207.05/hr- New sink installation, faucets, toilets, drinking fountains
- Repairs leaking pipes and nonfunctioning plumbing
- Sewer cam services
Stationary Engineer
$129.00/hrNon-UC: $207.05/hr- Routine and long-term preventive maintenance on building HVAC systems
- Troubleshoots heating, cooling, refrigeration, controls, vacuum and compressed air systems
Custodial
